Join the DIG Mobility in Porto!
For Who?
Are you a young person aged 15–19 interested in personal development, discovering new cultures, and learning how to make better decisions for your future? Join our international youth mobility in Porto, Portugal, organised as part of the Erasmus+ project DIG – Delay Instant Gratification for a Better Life.
What are the activities?
This international mobility brings together young people from different European countries to explore how delaying instant gratification can positively influence their everyday lives, relationships, personal goals, and future opportunities.
Through interactive workshops, non-formal education, group challenges, and intercultural learning, participants will explore three key areas:
Self-control and delayed gratification – understanding how immediate rewards influence our behaviour and learning practical strategies to make more conscious choices.
Patience, perseverance, and goal-setting – developing the motivation and resilience needed to pursue long-term goals and overcome everyday challenges.
Decision-making and personal development – strengthening critical thinking, emotional awareness, and the ability to balance short-term desires with long-term benefits.
Participants will:
Take part in interactive educational workshops and practical activities focused on delayed gratification;
Discover techniques for improving self-control, motivation, and decision-making;
Explore how digital distractions, social media, and everyday habits influence their choices;
Develop communication, cooperation, creativity, and problem-solving skills;
Exchange experiences and perspectives with young people from other European countries;
Practise applying delayed gratification strategies in real-life situations;
Discover Portuguese culture and experience an international learning environment;
Reflect on their personal development and identify practical changes they can introduce into their daily lives.
